Coming from the heels of a viral video that circulated on various Social Media channels in October 2021, in which children were videoed singing the National Anthem in muddy water, the IA- Foundation signed an MOU in which a borehole is to be constructed and donated to the Mawumadoka orphanage in Makoko area of Lagos.

Other items donated include Mathematical sets and exercise books.

On seeing the video that showed the deplorable state of the learning facility, the IA Foundation deployed a volunteer (Mr Dami Cole) to pay a visit to the orphanage earlier in the month of November. After which a joint committee was set up with the Mawumadoka Foundation to ascertain their actual needs and how the IA Foundation can be of help. A resolution was then reached to donate a borehole which is to provide clean water for the pupils, orphans and community in general which in turn encourage attendance to the school.

The borehole construction will commence in earnest.

The IA Foundation remains committed to reducing the out of school children in Nigeria and with your support we will continue to do more.
