BabaJide Olagundoye is an experienced Project manager and organizational Transformation Expert. He has Engineering and Accounting qualifications and specialises in the delivery of business value through improved IT. He was a director of British Safety Council. Babajide is also a member of the Operations, Fundraising, Compliance and ICT committees.

Ibironke Adeagbo is the founder of IA- Foundation. She is a chartered accountant. She was a director of British Safety council and has been a trustee/director of many charities in the UK. She has worked as Assistant principal/Director of Corporate services in the education sector in the UK. She was formally the chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN UK) district and a member of the Probity and Conduct panel of Royal Borough of Greenwich. Recently she was appointed to the board of StreetInvest where she serves as the Treasurer. She is the Chairperson of the Nigerian British Education Committee, UK.

Trained with Ernst and Young, has extensive experience in the area of Assurance and Advisory services as well as Charity Accounting. Has 13 years experience as an educator specialising in professional accounting qualifications as well as accounting and auditing software. Yetunde is the Chair of the Finance and Operations sub-committee.

Ms Tyler is a qualified social worker since 2004. She has worked in several local authorities both in London, Kent and Essex. Her core experience has been in children and families safeguarding which included Child in Need to Child Protection, which included years of court work securing permanence for childrens. Abimbola is the Chair of the Programme and Bursary sub committee.

Diran was a member of the  Executive team of St. Nicholas Hospital Lagos. Mr Famakinwa was a Trustee of TradeRelief UK, a charity enabling local entrepreneurs in developing countries to grow self-sustaining businesses. Diran is a member of the Foundation’s Finance and Operations committee.

Ms Julie Benson

Board Member

Julie Benson is the founder and Managing Director of J Benson Solicitors Ltd. The firm was established in August 2008. She previously worked in the Criminal Justice and Policy Department for the Ministry of Justice for 12 years and was responsible for developing the use of Video Links for vulnerable witnesses in England and Wales and also wrote the Legal Aid Best Practice Workbook Manual for Her Majesty’s Court Services. She is also the CEO of Arlington International Consultancy, a cross border organisation consulting on legal issues in the UK and in Nigeria. Julie is a member of the Foundation fundraising committee.

Mrs Tokunboh Okeowo is a Consultant Pharmacist and Clinical Oncologist in the NHS. Tokunbo is a member of the Foundation’s Fundraising Committees.

Deji Ishmael is an experienced facilitator and consultant working with teams to build cohesion, create healthy organisations, develop and implement strategy. He has experience across multiple sectors including telecommunications, technology, financial service and not-for-profits.

He sits on the board of the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) and continues to look for ways to make education count.

Olubowale Oluwasanya is a Cybersecurity Architect and Risk management consultant, (Automation & control Systems) with over 20 years’ experience, building and delivering technical solution in several multi-jurisdictional organisations. With extensive experience within Information Technology, Telecommunication and Oil & Gas industries, and has for over eight years successfully delivered information security related multi-vendor integrated solutions. Due to this passion for humanity, his spare time is spent with a number of charities both in Nigeria and UK, with primary focus on mentoring. Olubowale is the Chair of the Foundation’s IT and Compliance sub committee.

Prof. Henry Fadamiro is an Alumni Professor at Auburn University, Alabama, USA. In 1992, he was awarded a Rhodes scholarship to study at Oxford University, England, where he received a Ph.D. degree in 1995.  He has served as a USAID consultant in Africa.  Fadamiro has received more than $20 million in grants and published more than 150 articles. He has trained over 30 postgraduate students and postdoctoral

Professor Adegbemi Onakoya PhD FCA, is a Visiting Professor of Business and Applied Economics at Crescent University and an Associate Professor at Babcock University both in Ogun State, Nigeria. He is a chartered accountant and a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He was formerly Secretary to the government of Ogun State, Nigeria.

Taiwo Akinlami is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and arguably Africa’s foremost Legal and Child Rights/Protection and Family Strengthening Practitioner. He is the principal and founder of iProtect™ Academy, Africa’s pioneer Childhood Management and Child Development academy. He is an advocate for the protection of the African child. He is the principal of Taiwo Akinlami Academy for Legal Enlightenment and Social Development (LEAD™).

Lande Abudu is the Component Lead for Standalone Solar Home Systems on the World Bank Nigeria Electrification Project being implemented by the Rural Electrification Agency. Her prior role was as the CEO of Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN), Africa’s foremost association of renewable energy professionals, project developers and practitioners. Before that she was heading market development for West Africa at a leading multinational company with a presence in twelve African countries, providers of solar home systems to off grid communities.
Ms Abudu is a European Energy Centre-accredited Renewable Energy Expert and a member of the EnergyCPD Renewable Energy Professionals.

Solomon Adeusi is an experienced C Level expert in Financial Strategy and Business Transformation.   

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), he has more than 25 years post – ACA experience in management in various sectors of the Sub Sahara African and European economies including Cyber Security, Aviation, Integrated Marketing Communications, Private Equity, FMCG, Oil & Gas, Electrical Power Engineering & Utilities, Transportation, Logistics & Heavy Plant Equipment, Contracting, Consulting, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Telecommunications.  

He is currently the Head of Finance for a leading UK Cybersecurity firm with legal entities and operations in the UK, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and Germany. He was Head Finance, Business Services & HR Management at Lufthansa Group for 7 years. He also represented Lufthansa Group as non-Executive Director on the board of NAHCO Plc. Before joining Lufthansa Group, Solomon was Director Finance, West & Central Africa with Integrated Marketing Communications giant, MediaReach OMD. 

He was previously Group Financial Controller of UK based company, HVMS – High Voltage Maintenance Services Limited.

A versatile strategist with diverse experience Solomon is also a member of the UK Institute of Occupational Safety & Health, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Nigerian Chartered Institute of Management and Institute of Directors, Nigeria.  He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School.  

He was appointed as an Ambassador of I-A Foundation in January 2023.
