Digital Skills & Cybersecurity Mentorship Programme for Girls
Digital Skills & Cybersecurity Mentorship Programme for Girls.
IA-Foundation, in partnership with Isecurdata Academy, is currently delivering a Digital Skills and Cybersecurity Mentorship Programme designed to equip adolescent girls from underserved communities with essential, future-ready digital skills.
The two-month programme, which commenced on January 24, supports 14 girls through hands-on learning in basic digital literacy, online safety, and introductory cybersecurity concepts. The initiative combines practical training with mentorship from professionals in the technology and information security sector, helping participants build confidence, curiosity, and resilience in the digital world.
Bridging the Digital Divide
As digital access increases, young girls remain disproportionately exposed to online risks, digital exclusion, and limited opportunities in technology-driven fields. This programme responds to that gap by empowering girls with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital space safely while expanding their awareness of future career possibilities.

Our Strategic Partnership
Isecurdata Academy, a cybersecurity and data protection organisation, brings industry expertise and mentorship to the programme. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a generation of digitally responsible and security-aware young people.
This pilot programme forms part of IA-Foundation’s broader mission to promote inclusive education, skills development, and safeguarding for at-risk children and adolescents. Lessons learned from the ongoing programme will inform future expansion, enabling more girls across different communities to benefit from similar opportunities.
